No Spark

02 800 summit with no spark

It does not happen all the time. I have wiggle the wires and messed with the tether switch and it starts. I am go a few rides and then it happens again. Seems like it happens the most then I put it into the shop. This time I have no spark even after wiggling al the wires.

Any Ideas?

could be moisture in the connectors. try drying the connectors u have to wiggle then putting dyelectric grease on them and plugging them back in.

try the simple stuff first as it seems where it does it only some times its probably not something major.

my wifes 800 154 08 did the same thing.sometimes would run, turn it off then wouldnt start,go back a couple hours later. it would run.took forever to figure out. check the wires under the consule of the dess.where the tether cord plugs to. she had a wire that was loose.good luck...
