No Spark!! At a LOSS!!

Good to hear Sean! If you are gonna do any wiring on these babies, LEARN to solder good! And I am only saying this cause I have been there done that with the crimping and the twisting and the tape. I finally got good on the soldering gun and I won't do it any other way.

Best way for me is flux-core wire and a little butane heated gun. It still has a metal tip, but uses butane to keep the tip hot instead of pluggin it in. Heats quick and is compact and easy to maneveur.

Well...

all finsihed messing with the sled...

turns out the tether cord housing itself is bad..not the wires...

put everything back together and made sure the wiring was never gonna go loose again, and what do you know...no spark..lol..i almost SHAT myslef...unplugged the tether again, and bingo..

so i am giong to junk it and get a "name brand" one this time..

its the cheap knock off "Pro Design"..been great for a year but just quit..i have the Pro-Armor on my 900 and its beefy and mean looking..worth the extra few $$ for a quality one...

so no more messing around...after i get the new spacers and bolts from Colin..(my life saver) no more messing with the engine compartment on her sled ever again..LOL...yeh right ;)

Thanks again to everyone for the inputs, suggestions...every little input helps..you cannot over look the littlest, simplest part or it will come back and bite you in the A$$!!

i will post up a build thread on her sled within the next few days...REALLLLLY came out prettttty trick looking...i think its one the BEST looking 2006 RMK 700 (755) around....;)
