no sno boards traction kit??

Finally got my no sno boards. Anybody use anything other than the "traction kit" screws, or have a good pattern for where to put them?

i installed them on my crossfire last year and they make a big difference. i just wish they were about 1/4 inch thinner. feels like there is no outer edge on the running board.

anyway, what i did was went with something similar to a stud pattern on a track only scaled down. 2 screws, then one in the center, then 2 again, and one in the center, repeat.

Those boards are unreal! You dont feel the rail edge really, but with the traction screws you actually have something to stand on instead of hoping the little edge rail will hold you after you slip off the ice built up.
I just put a pair kinda on the edge of each cross between the cutouts. Worked awesome. Cant wait to get a pair on this 09, at the very least save money on tearing up boots trying to keep snow off them.
