no reverse

just bought used 07 rev (x) elec start and no rev,Why?can it be changed to have reverse?how difficult is it to change?im assuming it was snochecked that way,waiting for the original owner to call back,he lives in yakima and traded it to pacific boatland in vancouver.if your out there,its red white and black 159 w/challenger lt,premiere power sports in idaho did the 08 bottom end up grade in jan.09 says for warranty on the receipt.thanks

theres no such thing as an 07 without reverse. does the button kill the motor or just do nothing? if it kills the motor, it could be as simple as low idle speed. need more info.

The electric start button also becomes the reverse button when the sled is running.

there is a block off plate right next to the start button,wasnt sure.i didnt want to hit the start button when running.my xp doesnt have elec start but the start button is the rev button .thanks to all.first rev and no owners man and the dealer tech didnt know,didnt know why it beeped,found out it eas the tether
