No Power to Hand Warmer Elements Dragon 700

Hi Guys,

The hand warmer's on my wifes 08 700 dragon are not working and I'm in the dog house! I have ohmed them out to find that they are not shorted but I do not have power to them. I cannot locate a fuse. Any thoughts or a wiring diagram would be appreciated.
Thanks

Are you getting power to the switch?

I need to pull the switch apart and check that too I guess. I did check the each of the wires at their connection point just before they plug into the elements but they have nothing. The indicator lights on the switch work and I doubt the switches went out??

Thanks for the diagram, I can't make out any of the colors though. I did take the switch apart and verified continuty through the switch but I don't have any power there. I assume it is between 12-16v VAC. I also don't see any overcurrent protection (fuses or fusible link). What happens when a handwarmer shorts to ground?

there are no fuses, when something shorts to ground on a sled everything stops working such as lights and tach.

I think I just found that out the hard way.... We were able to put on about 30 miles today but while on the way down to the truck the check engine light came on and there was a loss of power and no lights unless you kept the RPMs up. I made sure that the handwarmer/thumbwarmer was off and I even uplugged them, this didn't solve the problem. Looks like I'm tearing into some wiring tomorrow.....
