No Lights On Summit!!! Help?

I have a 2003 summit 8000 and I am having a lighting issue…I don’t have any! No dash lights, headlights, taillights and no hand/thumb warmers. The sled runs great but no lighting. The RER works and the indicator for the RER on the dash works also, but that is all.

2 Weeks ago I changed the chain case oil and I’m wondering if I could have knocked something loose. I checked all of the connections (unplugged and plugged them back in) and they all looked fine. I also checked the fuses and they looked fine also.

I called the dealer and he thought it could be a relay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it is probably the relay. It is zip-tied above the secondary clutch. NAPA part #Ar272, cheaper than Doo.

relay problem

I just replaced one on a 2006 summit 600 sdi. It was working in the shop and took it for a short ride and it quit. I replaced the relay and it was all better. I have had 2 this year so far go bad after sitting all summer.

Mine did the same thing yesterday, new relay at the auto parts store 9.00 dollars and all better now. AR 272.

If you can find one, get a BOSCH relay. They seem to hold up better.
