I have a 2017 look vision 25 ft insulated, lights etc. my problem is no interior trailer lights weather truck is running or not. I still have nothing inside. any ideas it has 30 amp breaker box and receptacles on the wall also 4 fluorescent and 12 volt lights nothing works.it is hooked up to a 04 dodge diesel all running light s and turn signals brakes etc. all work.thanks for the help. (Jimbo)

For your outlets and florescent lights you need 110v power.... Generator or plugged into external power source.

You 12 volt lighting gets its power from a 12v aux terminal on the wiring hook-up at the truck. Its not uncommon for this circuit to need a large Maxi fuse installed on the truck to power up this terminal.
If you have battery voltage at the Aux terminal at the back of the truck, then check inside the trailer and see if there is a battery. It might be unhooked. Eric

I figured i would need 110 also there is a small battery for breakaway and it is hooked up and fully charged.also i haven't tried the shore power yet. Thanks

You should check that Aux terminal for power, could be a very easy/quick fix if you just need to install a fuse on the truck.

converting 12v to 110v.......yeah, it can be done. But you will need a bank of deep cycle batteries and a converter to do it. It would be cheaper to buy a small generator. The generator can be mounted outside or in the back of your truck, then just get a cord to hook into your shore power outlet. Eric

Bet the problem is the truck fuse. I have a 16 and it had a short that kept blowing the truck fuse. Dealer fixed it. I also wired my breakaway battery into the power feed. Keeps the battery charged and allows the use of the lights without being plugged to the truck

If the trailer has a battery for 12V power other than the break-away battery, look for a master power switch on a wall some where.

Get a 12 volt tester and see if you have 12 volts at the 12 volt light switch. If you do, then more than likely you have an open ground. If you don't have 12 volts you have to chase it back like Eric said. As far as 120 volt goes. My kid bought a Honda suit case generator in mint condition on Craigs list for $700. Those things are amazing. $.02
