No fuel???

My 04 summit800 is mot starting and when if first died it sounded like it was running on one cylinder or running out of gas. So i pulked oof the carb and there was no fuel in the bottom of the csrb where the float is. So how can i test if the fuel pump is workung properly? And which line going to the carb is the fuel line? Any ideas on why there is no fuel going to my carbs?

K new update.... My tank is full of gas but when i disconected the fuel line from the tank no gas is coming out?? Is this where the fuel filter is? Could it be clogged causing this problem? How do you remove the fuel filter?

there is a fuel pick up line that is in the tank. I think that it hac some sort of check ball in it to keep fuel from flowing back into the tank. It also has a screen filter on the end of it. drain the gas out of the tank, pull out the pick up, and check it. I think u will find the problem. the fuel nipple just pulls out of the gasket then the gasket out of the tank. its pretty easy to ruin these gaskets, good news is that they are pretty cheap. Should be an easy fix
good luck

Ya i removed that line put a new fuel filter on and still no fuel???? If i blow on the tube i can hear it buble the fuel in the tank and if i suck i can barely get 2 drops of fuel
anyone no whats going on???

sounds like your one way valve is on backwards. Try flipping it around so the air can flow out but not in.

So i removed the fuel filter and line again. It seems that there is no valve i just put a new fuel filter on and i fan fuel both ways throgh the line no problem. But when i put the filter and line back into the tank there is no fuel that comes out??? I am so confussed is there something i am missing

That sounds strange. Fuel wont run out of the line with it disconnected? Do u have enough fuel in it? Check your breather. If it was plugged it might cause that situation. Dont know what else to tell u.
