I have a 2003 polaris vertical escape with a carls cycle 910 in it. Took it out yesterday for one of the first good pow days ive had on it and it seemed like it didnt have the bottom end power i was looking for. After the track started moving I could climb anything, but had to have a little run in to get that track spinning. Its got 10-64 weights and almond primary spring. pretty sure the secondary was done by carls also. do I need a new primary spring?

What RPM are you engaging at?
What gearing do you have in it.

Have you contacted Carl's for there suggestions for set-up?

I would certainly 2nd getting a hold of Carl's. They have quality products. I would bet they really want to keep their products running properly, even if you are not the original purchaser (are you?).

I think im engaging at around 4000. everything is the recommend clutching/ gearing from carls, but ill have to give them a call

PRYMARY SOUNDS GOOD check sec spring, check exh valves, mine does that when the springs dead

My set for 4/6000 Round almond with 10/66 wts Team clutch with 66-42/66-40 helix, Red black spring Jetting was 450/440 i would need to go look for the fuel screw settings as well as the air. Are your carbs bored? If so check the slides on the intake side to make sure the corners did not break off, Also the cylinder skirt was known for breaking off on the intake side as well. Not sure if any of this will help but mine ripped all the way from bottom to top.
