No 1000 in 09??

I was looking to see what the 1000 was coming out in in 09 and I can't find it in any of the models..is this right?

I was told they were gunna until the 1200 4 stroke showed up. Now there not going too.

Never were gonna make a 2 stroke 1000 again. Somebody got hold of the "thumper" and started a rumor without using all of the info. Just to get ya'll worked up!

if only they came out with that 1200 in the summit supercharge and bobs your uncle 210 - 230 hp and proven to work on the seadoo could be a good set up.

I am ticked off at my dealer for even getting my hopes up about the 1000.

Still hopin that they may come out with one in the E-Tec version in 2010. Not going to get my hopes up though.

I just about went Yami this year, But Both sleds will be completly overhauled, So I will run them , Or try to, another year.

Bummer for sure!!

They need the 1 litre (1000) supercharged Sea-Doo motor--215hp on premium.

Problem is--these 2 divisions of BRP do not talk to each other--they both feel to good for the other division.

So BRP should step in and handle this situation IMHO--Think for a minute--lets build 2 new motors from scratch--R&D for millions---Why not use one motor in both--cost less to build--parts would cost less--R&D less. This is a DUHR in my thinking--am I wrong here.

What rpm's does this sea-doo motor run at? Might make all of its power at the wrong rpm?

They may not talk but the charger is made and should mount on the motor and fit well. You also know how the motor runs already....good

You know someone will do this right away

they could have at least put the 1200 in the summit for an option so u could make a charged summit
