Nitro MTN Tamer 162

Anyone have a report on before and after performance of this setup?
I was in easy 3' of bottomless pow and the nitro was trenchin hard on any incline unless there was major amount of momentum.
Will 162 fit in stock tunnel with big wheels?
How about 16" wide?
How about gearing?
I'm sure this was already discussed but I missed it.
Seriously considering this setup before the turbo next year.

162x16x2.5 challenger extreme will fit with some cutting and grinding and a set of rail extentions. But................. will the stock motor turn it?

Some guys are putting them in 15'' and 16'' wide with and without tunnel extension.. on a stock motor set-up.. Im thinking of going the same route Ive got just over 200 km on mine and in the deep stuff it was hard to stay on top ... That maverick track doesnt help much though, might try flipping it around first..

i turned my mav track around last season on my apex didn't like it.no noticable diff still didn't climb worth crap.what i really didn't like about the switch was the ability to stop especially when i was on the step and hard packed stuff.the thing was like a crazy carpet.challenger extreme i think is track of choice.

i also invested in a mtn tamer susp but didn't get a chance to set it up the way i want it because it was way to cold.but i must say it is a improvement over stock.can't go wrong for $1450 and it also shaves alot of weight.just my 2 cents

Got another deep powder day on boulder yesterday with the mountain tamer. I friggen love this skid! So far it does all they claim'd it would. It holds down the ski's well when climbing but also has enough transfer for boon'n in the deep stuff.

Oh yah, and a 162 will fit right under your stock tunnel fine.....no extension needed.

why is every one doing a 162 , will the 16 inch wide doo tracks not fit ? diffrent pitch ? Because even with the turbo i noticed while boondocking in the deep pow you have to keep alot of momentum goin to not get stuck , on the big long pulls its fine though . So i think its the lack of track thats the problem

This is what I am running as of right now. 162 Apex rails on a K-Mod suspension, VE tunnel extension, 162x15x2.25 Camo and dropped one tooth on top . Rode in 4-5 ft of bottomless powder last weekend and it flat out works.:D

Dropped one tooth on top, did it need it or was that an intuition move? How about clutching changes? Thinking about the same track with shockwave helix no gear change.

I have never had a sled that I have not geared down. If my Nytro did not have reverse I would of went even lower.. It's a waist of time to mess with clutching until engine break in is complete. IMO:)
