i put the challenger extreem on on sunday, while i was in there i found that doo shocks fit the rear skid, also had a pair of simmons flexes laying around, needless to say this thing is a whole new snowmobile, had it up today. all it needs now is clutch work and ill be real happy with it

just kept it at 153, didnt gear down, and ride between 6500 and 10,000 i would suggest this setup for anyone, just the shocks made a huge differance, it has some ski lift now but its so much better then before

tracks usa shreddder, the shocks came off a 2003 mxz they are the rebuildible aluminum, perfect fit, the only thing you have to doo is put the yamaha bushings in the doo shocks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your 153 Extreme is a 2.25"?

I think the difference in the 153 and 156 is an extra .25" paddle length and a harder compound. The 153 2.25 is listed as "medium" compound.

My vote goes to the 156.......hope I can afford to get one so I have something to back that up with!!!
