New gen 2 shafts 2/4 strokes with collar delete
The new design is also on the 2 stroke shafts.
The pictures tell the story but I will explain a little more, these shafts are set up to keep the reverse and all stock parts fit the same as before except the locking collar because its deleted, no more walking shafts, ever
#1 These new gen 2 shafts are set up with the collar delete, no more shims needed and its for more strenth being 1.117 and stock being 0.994 and no chance the inner cir clip can get pushed off, also the inner cir clip was deleted, just slide the bearing on then the locking ring and spanner nut, then bend over the tab into the spanner nut, then put the first thrust washer on then the inner gear, then the outter thrust washer then the cir clip, then the outter gear.
#2 The middle diameter between the chain case bearing and the PTO side bearing is 1.128 to 1.130, stock is 0.894.
#3 The Pto side of the shaft is 0.994 diameter all the way in with a up radius to where it steps up to where the back side of the clutch slides on, the spot where the bearing presses on has no negative radius like the stock one has, stock is 0.994 and drops down to less than 0.884 after the clutch spline with a negative radius where the bearing stop is.
#4 The chain case side of the shaft is bigger as well, the outter part of the shaft is 0.994 and stays that way all the way to where the new threaded part where the spanner nut goes on where the collar was deleted with no negative radius anywhere.
#5 Where the bearings stops are on these shafts have a slight up radius to fill in where the bevel is on the inner race of the bearing
Enjoy
Thanks to the great engineers I have been dealing with all summer.
Thank
Frank
