1999 MXZX 440 factory Race Sled- $1750 firm
Excellent Running sled that has been converted into a high performance trail sled. Has lower compression heads installed to run regular pump gas now. Factory it was setup w/high comp heads to run race fuel. It was a Skidoo sponsore sled, which our friends wife raced in 99-00. It was then rode by their daughter and garaged for about 5 years until we purchased it in 2005. My wife rode it in 05 and then went to a long track 600 in 06 so it has been our extra for the past couple years. Last year it was rode about 10 times and this year so far twice. So its time to make some room in the garage. The sled was refreshed after 99 and 00 seasons and is in good shape. i would guess it to have between 1000 and 1200 miles on it as it was only raced for two years then rode maybe 200 miles a year after that up until last year.
Condition:
Engine - Refreshed in 2000, very strong running sled, three pull starts cold.
Clutches - Good condition, Professionally built. I installed new aluminum TRA arms, weights, pins, rollers two years ago when we purchased the sled and replaced the titanium arms that were setup more for racing then mountain trail riding. Still have titanium arms that will go w/sled.
Track - Excellent, no tears, fraying, missing lugs, etc. Is drilled for studs.
Suspension - Excellent has high performance race suspension on rear that was refreshed in 2000 and stills all rides very well.
Hifax - Good shape
Ski's Skags - Good Condition
Overall sled condition is an 8 of 10 as it is in great shape w/no damaged, other then what is stated. The hood, seat, tunnel, console, bumpers, etc is all in perfect condition and overall you won't find another 440 mxzx that looks this good and runs this strong for the price.
Damage:
Small Belly pan crack - brake side
Small ding on trailing arm - throttle side, seen in photos. It is from another sled ski hitting it and is just on the flat surface area so it has not weakened the arm. It has been rode like that for the past 7 years.
