Been really busy so haven't had time to post this up but am getting around to it now as people are asking! lol...

Kit install is very clean compared to nytro and apex kits. Much more bolt on. Very nice!

This started out as a Viper XTX SE. We added...

MCX-270 turbo, 174x3" track, Timbersled mtn. tamer (can be switched to Racers Edge), Ice age rails, Avid 7 tooth drivers, 38" narrow front end kit, SLP powder pro ski's, Arctic Cat Vertical Steering post, CR Racing tunnel extension, CR Racing Extreme boards, Yamaha low windscreen. We then added a Yamaha Wrap for the Saskatoon show. looks very good. very happy with it! So was Randy Swenson, Chris Brown & Jim Phelan! lol. - Cody

Nice job Cody.....spec sheet claims 502 for XTX Viper. We will have under 500 lb Mountain 4 Strokes on the snow this winter with 270 hp plus bad azz torque. Unlike a wimpy 800 Boosted 2 stroke that reminds me of a gas truck with a 30' trailer behind compared to a diesel ;)

Any chance you could deliver a 450lb version, if so, how much?

Congrats! You have built the sled that Yamaha should be making! If Yamaha could deliver that sled at 475lbs, 270hp, with a warranty it would be the beginning of the change over to 4 stroke for mountain riding. Well done for showing Yamaha what they need to build!

Any chance a guy will be able to test ride something like this in revy this year?
Thanks

I notice the turbo is up front. do you guys notice the weight up there or does it not seem to affect it? I do like how much lighter this sled is.

My T Nytro is 448. You are not getting a Viper below 450 without some serious work and coin.

We hope to do some riding on one this winter in Revy but right now we have a bunch of customer turbo vipers to build before we even get to our own! We will have to do some weighing but stock the XTX is 502, the front end of these vipers is very light compared to cat 1100T. I think a lot of guys will be very impressed. I don't think it will be too hard to get into that 475-480 range with a turbo. Those last few lbs will get expensive I think. - Cody

Please weigh one! :face-icon-small-hap

If the stock sled is 502, then add the turbo, longer track/tunnel ext/skid, how are you getting down to 480?

So, I'm guessing $24K for the sled show above?

If a guy were to order the sled shown above how long before delivery? Does Yamaha still honor warranty? How about cross border warranty (US)?

502lbs if accurate is awesome, my 12 proclimb 800 was 505 as delivered with minimal fluids in it. This new viper is going to be a real game changer, I was under the impression though that the viper/nytro motor was only 28lbs lighter than the cat 1100t.

Very nice build by the way, I can't wait to see some vids of these custom vipers in action.

Well here it is boys, on a certified scale. This is a mountain viper with 162 powerclaw, zbros front end, all fluids to run and a gallon of fuel. The straps weigh 8lbs so the total is 550. This is a sled I built here at anchorage yamaha. We will have many more going out as well, lots of interest in a mountain version.

I'm SOLD- want one just like it

What's it going to cost me, ?Set up the exact same way, except is there a 310 HP version.? I will run on 100 LL.

If that 550 is correct and you add say 60lbs to fill the fuel tank that's 610lbs ready to ride. Pretty good compared to my t1100 which is 675lbs full of fuel ready to ride
