Anybody run these in their '12 800cc? Mine is stock other than PA head and MDS clutching. Let me know comments/opinions...

20-25 thou

THIS. Be careful gapping tho as they iridium electrodes break/chip easily.

My sled does run better/fouls less with them but not sure they're worth their price. I was hoping they would help shore up the "lazy" throttle mine has up to about 5600 rpm as I was having a helluva time with fouling the BPR9ES's. No such luck; runs the same tho fouls less. I read where the '13's have eliminated that issue and are really dialed with their fuel mapping and injectors. Not sure how I should attack my problem with the dated '11 injectors and ports? I think the injectors are hanging open as I'm really gurgling/bogging right at 55-5600 rpm. I've read where guys have eliminated that with the PA head = better combustion?

Same boat as you it seems, only I noticed it AFTER putting on my PA head???

Anyone actually tried BR9EYA plugs in these?

I solved my problem Norway! Turns out it was dirty injectors causing them to stick open which causes fuel to load up at lower rpm's. Run a quart of toluene thru your fuel system = back to normal performance. The Iridium plugs are stellar - running at 0.022" per Carl's.

Hey G, kinda went that route as it seemed a logical explanation. Used Redlines injector cleaner, but not fixed yet. Wonder if it needs something stronger??

Tried to look up what toluene is called here in Norway, but not sure yet. Just did some simple searches and it seems to be what we would call a paint-thinner.

Gonna seeif I find the info I need, or the nerve, to just pour in some..

Oh! And I ran BR9EYA all day today with no hick-up.

Toluene is used in race gas blends so no problem. It is a paint thinner (strongest one) but then so is mineral spirits among others so try to be particular (both can be added to gas tho!).

Gman, I am running the Iridium's at the factory gap of .27, and the manual calls for .27. What is the advantage of shrinking the gap to .22? Is there a technique used to narrow the gap to prevent damaging the electrode? Thanks.

Less stress on the stator (and there have been some stator issues with the Pro). I did the G MAN smack and pray method, LOL: put a .022" flat feeler gauge in the gap and tap the strap on the workbench while you say a prayer that the electrode doesn't break!

Have FUN!
