Ngk champion replacement

sweet up some green for you two.

A friend of mine said their silber turbos required the eix i think that means iridium right?

not really needed in a stock motor im assuming. He said the boost causes the spark to blow out or something?

Any who ill get whatever Canadian tire has, they dont carry that champion m/n.

Yes the -eix means its the iridium, and all it does is give a more consistant and a larger spark. Supposedly burns the fuel quicker and better. I run them in my turbo dragon but before the turbo I ran stock champions with no issues.

I'm still in question on the running quality of the NGK's, even the Iridiums on these CFI's, but that's just me. But that is what my son's '09 600 Dragon prefers otherwise he is eating Champions every day. My 700 loves the Champions, nothing else. And if you had an ear for tuning you can hear the difference between the Champions and standard NGK's...

NGK BPR9EIX vs BR9EIX

I went out to get some of the iridium NGK BPR9EIX plugs, and when I got home I realized they had given me BR9EIX plugs. Anybody know what the diff is? I see the P=projected insulator type on the nomenclature chart. Now, if I only knew what the hell that meant, I could decide if I can use them or take them back. Anybody have any experience with these? Can I run them in an 09 D800 or do I have to head back and swap them out?
thanks!!

Upon further ponderance, I think I answered my own question. I want the longer insulator to place the spark deeper into the chamber......right? So the bpr9eix are the way to go, and I am drivin back into town to return them. Damn I hate trusting someone to give ya what you ask for.
