New YAM. Skis...Anyone?

Just wondering if anyone has tried the new mtn. skis from Yamaha yet? If they work as good as they look, I may have to pull the trigger!:smokin:

Got some, and like 'em. They offer the stability of the Simmons Gen 2 without the wider back half. They sidehill nice and are priced right. I have a couple sets in stock if you are interested. They were on backorder for quite a while this year, so a lot of people gave up on them.

The picture in the Yamaha accessory book does not show much detail, but they sure a priced well.

They show different carbide part #'s though.

So if any one has used em and got pics, I would be interested.

On another note, rumor has it a new simmons next season. In the 8" area,,, hmm. I know of a set being test this weekend somewhere out west in the steep and deep.

So the new Yam ski works good in the pow,... but what about harder snow conditions/icy ruts/really trashed out junk etc.? What length carbides are offered with this ski? How much less do they weigh compared to the standard Yam mtn ski? Has durability been improved or compromised? Appreciate any info...thanks.
