new xp dies

My new 08 xp dies on the trail. Will restart but is pretty exasperating to pay that much and then have this happen. Was told by the dealer to watch out for this, and they do not have a fix from SkiDoo. Anyone else having this problem yet and do you know of the fix? thanks in advance.

Under what conditions does it just die?? While under throttle or when just coasting or idling?? If it dies when you let off the throttle I would say just turn up the idle a bit and see if that takes care of it. If it dies under throttle there is something wrong, I would make the dealer fix it.

it was running unde light load at about 15 mph and went down like the kill button was pushed but I checked it and was not that. I also have had several "communications failure" pages come up on the panel. Shut it down and restart and is okay. Help.

I have gotten the "check key" a couple of times on my display. I push the tether key in and you can tell the difference.

Are your handwarmers still working? If not, make sure that they are turned off until you get 'em fixed.

Hand warmers work okay but the thumb warmer is too hot

The hand warmers work okay but the bloody thumb warmer is too hot even on the lowest setting. What does these idiots do that design these machines, they can cut off 50 lbs but cannot work the thumb warmer. SOOOOOOO exasperating;
