i put new wisco pistons and rings 03 800 escape and the rings are pulling material from the cyl. motor has 1000 mile on it. not marking the rings and not run for more than a few minutes,the piston has 5.5 thou and the rings have 19 thou clearance
With Wiesco pistons its is VERY important to bring the sled up to operating temp before hogging on it. Start it let it warm up, then slowly cruise around THEN get after it. Need to do this basically every time you stop and turn the motor off
