new vid from december 16

I am almost convinced i need to get a snowbike my only concern is our snow is deep and bottomless and alot of days a sled with a 162 track is a stuckfest i wish there was a dealer near where i could demo in our corner of the world. Looks like in your video snowbike does well

Its pretty incredible, they're are a few things to think of tho comparing to a sled. First is weight. A kx450 with the st kit weighs like 305 ready to ride. There really isn't anything that will hold you up in the snow to get you stuck, like running boards, or a-arms. And obviously you don't have the power of a sled, but with a transmission, and an engine with a lot of torque they go just fine! I have 20 hours on my kit, and I've been places that in ten years of riding in my area have never even considered on a sled. They flat out work!

Cat Bandit is right. Wyoming snow is likely to be champagne powder so if there is a base, a snowbike will get down to where the traction is. Hill climbing in deep dense snow sraight up the fall line is where a snowbike will struggle, but that isnt what its about on a bike anyway. Sidehilling and finessing your way up to the top is way more fun. After riding one a while you look at all the challenges differently, picking a different line.

it does look like it fits the way i ride our snow is bottomless untill spring alot of time the sagebrush is the traction. I have spent hours digging out sleds. I am tired of clutching and the inconsistant reliabilty of sleds a bike is way simple compared to a sled. The light weight is appealing. The wife really would like me to ride one before i drop the 5 grand on the kit

If you are ever up this way you are more than welcome to try mine. But I will warn you now you will by one I haven't taken anyone out yet that hasn't came back and wanted one......;-)

Thats so cool. Getting people hooked. I went for my first ride of the season today. Met up with a sled rider ive known for years at our snowmobile cabin. Hes been interested in the snowbikes for a few years but wanted to ride one first. Well he finally got the chance in some untracked 3 day old snow today. I swapped my bike for his polaris pro. I just sat there while he took his first ride (he is a dirt biker at heart and an awesome sled pilot). All i could hear was him laughing while he rode, yep he's hooked too. Hopefully just cost him 10 grand!
