New venting option?

1) does a turbo M have juice to spare after powering an oil pump, control box, EBC, etc?

2) I wish someone would verify temperature reduction with an infrared thermometer.

How to keep the motor cool?
How long do the hifax for the tracks last?
Thos are my thoughts. Also, Im not a fan of sand because it gets every where, so I wonder how long all the parts/ bearings hold up on the sled since it was designed for snow.

I think I will just stay with ridding my crf450 in the summer. Looks no different than riding a quad around, cant really side hill it the way it looked. Lots of bogie wheels on track, probably no slides at all.

Guys, not refering to the test video out in the dunes. Click on the Blow Hole link.

I like the idea of the fan. It seems to be low profile and doesn't look like it was cobbled together.

About the sand sled-
I talked to those guys at St. anthony when they had it there this fall. It was the only summertime testing they could get with their turbo kit they were putting together. They said the drag of the sand loaded the sled up like it was powering through about 18" of snow. Could sidehill the sled but said it felt a little different trying to balance on the wheel rather than the whole ski. Biggest problem they had was the polaris electrical system didn't produce enough power to sustain the battery on the radiator. They could run for a while until it died and then had to recharge or change batteries. Idler wheels all the way down the skid with no hyfax.

g dang it! I could use that under hood heat and redirect upward to keep my mirrors from fogging up on the trail back to the truck.:bounce:
