NEW TRACK DESIGN

I am. I heard it'll put you on par with what an LT would do for you. While that seems a bit far fetched, I'll take a little advantage. Also putting on N2O for some extra help too.

yes

Its prooven that deeper lugs give more traction otherwise we would still have .5" lugs.
Just got shipment today.

already have mine swapped out , I think it's a bigger deal than the TSS unless you spend a lot of time in rough trails ,,, me I'm a powder hound I want the track!one draw back I have found is that it doesn't want to stand up buy its self, may need a kick stand when not in the snow

I wanted to put more power (CR500) to the ground without spending too much. I ended up converting my '13 ST to LT with the new convex track. Supposedly going to be a game changer but I guess we'll see.

I did the exact same thing. I installed a set of IceAge rails and the 137 convex track on my 15 ST. Can't wait for snow to try it out!

i think a 129" would be about perfect. After playing around on LTs and STs, the STs are a lot more 90% of the time. There was one day last year when i wished i'd had an LT, but it would less fun the other 90% of the time. a 129" might be the perfect compromise. I supposed i could buy a yeti track and go that way?

With the new "curved" track, do you think that it will be harder to balance on the pegs while kick starting? I have a feeling that it'll make it difficult to stand on the pegs and kick the bike over while on hard pack. Anyone have experience with this?

On the older sx kits with the snow hawk track it was definitely more of a balancing act than the standard kits, but it's manageable.

I get myself into too many awkward spots for kick start.
Electric start only. And has to be EFI.
I glad Yamaha will have E start and EFI for next year.

On the flat hardpack they can be a bit harder to balance but in the deep snow they seem to stay afloat and balance just the same, our demo kit was on a kickstart bike and that never came up.

What did come up was the huge gains from traction and drivability with the curved track! Best upgrade the kits have seen in all their years of upgrade. Although the new skid geometry makes them pretty nice as well!
