? new toyota tundra and sleddeck ?

Anybody have decks on the 07 and up tundras, i've seen some pics online and i know marathon and bulldog build decks for this truck.
from what i could find online, the payload is apprx. 1600 pounds, and the tow cap. is 11,000 pounds.

the payload is extremely underrated for this truck at 380hp, the 4 wheel disc brakes are enormous, you need 18" rims just to clear the rotors!

Is it true even with add-a-leaf or air bags its still not 'legal' and word is icbc will VOID all insurance...............

anybody have any experience with this dillema? thnx

I have a Cross Trax deck for mine and air bags. takes curves and stops on a dime with 2 sleds on. Legal or not, it handles it fine

Even if you just added up the payload with 2 sleds and a deck, I doubt you'd be surpassing that 1600 figure, especially if they are newer mountain sleds. I've got an '04 model Tundra, and not that I would put one on it, but I did put airbags on it to help with heavier loads....HIGHLY recommend it for any Toyota owner...keep the cushy ride when empty, but get rid of the sag when loaded.
