go with the m8...l worked at a yamaha dealership..i own an m8...handle better and lots of performance options...yes you can turbo the nytro but it won;t hold a candle to the m8 with boost...up in our parts the ski-doo 800 turboed is spanking the boosted apex
Well, if you aren't gonna boost the Nytro, then an M8 will demolish a Nytro in every category. Its lighter, it handles a little better in the POW and it climbs a lot better than stock than the Nytro. BUT - adding boost is much more viable option with the yammi though.

must not be a very good setup on the Apex then!!!! or is it just boondocking ur doing?

I ride with a 07 M8 all day almost every day. The Nytro spanks the M8 highmarking it by 30 to 100' fresh or tracked. My friend and I figured out our total sled and rider weight to be very close. He is seriously considering purchasing one next year. Nytro is stock with slip on exaust the M8 has Y pipe air box mod and stinger. I would say that the fuel range is the same with only 28L in the Nytro and 40L in the M8.
