New to Yamaha

I'm looking at picking up a Nytro MTX for my wife's sled. The dealer has '08's and '09's in stock. I would like to know if there is any reason not to buy the '08 over the '09? Is there anything that I should know before buying? Thanks.

You should be able to get a holdover for around $8500, which should be a significant savings over the 09's. If I recall, not much changed with the 09's, I think shocks - not sure what else.

Subframe is also beefed up on the 09. Heard a rumour that the maverick might be a bit stiffer but dont know for sure.

yeah not enough to justify the extra cash, and you should be able to get way cheaper than the $8500 number...

08 vs 09 Nytro

If it was me I would go for the 09 the sub-frame is re-enforced, track is stiffer, updated bolt in the bottom gear (Chain case) new color to pick from, Front shock are valved different.
