New to Washington! Riding areas?

I moved to The Bremerton area last year from Idaho and am now looking for areas to snowmobile. I havnt had time for it in the few years but am looking to get back into it. I would like to hear from anybody that knows any good areas to ride. I want areas that i can backcountry and Hill Climb. Riding all day on a groomed trail is not my bag baby! Hit me up with suggestions please.

Thanks in advance.

I could make a dozen suggestions of where you could ride...but, from the sound of it your gonna end up at schrieber like the rest of us on the Wside.
Its located on the s side of Mt baker about 30 min e of I5 on hwy 20.
Lots of terrain, from mild meadows to the most advanced back country riding you can handle! Elevation ranges from about 3k to the summit at 10k. There is some good spots E on I90 too but, in my opinion once you ride baker everything else is pales in comparison:smow:

Now to decide what sled i want to get. I haven't been into the sled thing since about 2002 so i am way unfamiliar with the new Anti-trailing arm sleds! =) I was always partial to Polaris but i imagine things have changed since then.

You will need a SnoPark permit at ALL WA SnoParks.

Head down to Puyallup this weekend, see how sleds have changed. It's a great show.

Up I-90 is supose to be good riding, never been there my self but plan to give it a shot this year. That and greenwater are about the closest to you, then St Helens / Ore creek are and in the other direction Mt Baker.

When you get a sled hit me up, I'm just over in Gig Harbor so drive the same way to ride.

My vote would be for a Skidoo XP ... The puyallup Expo is this weekend and is a good place to shop for a sled.

Look for something used and inexpensive...

When out riding with others, ask to try their sleds out to get a better idea of the sled that would work best for your type of riding..
