new to turbos have a few questions

I am looking into buying a 09 M8 with a boondocker pump gas turbo on it with 800mi. the sled is in colorado and is set up for there I live in MN and ride here and out west. The sled does not have EGTs is that a must if I go back and forth from out west to home or is there a mapping program that will just set it for my elevation. Any other info you might have for me would be great. Thanks Brent

You need egts or a A/F, for sure, or a lot of time and money. How much is it, I have a twisted 09 m8 for sale. Since 09 the bd kit has a lot of newer upgrades to fix problems some had once in a while. If it doesn't have egts or af gauge I would be pulling the pipe and looking at the pistons and cylinders before I even thought about buying it.

Nothing is dummy proof but like mentioned you will need a set of gauges, different maps for your bd box and different clutching as well to go from home to out west.
