New to the Forum and Colorado

Hello Everyone,

Just moved to Colorado Springs from Minnesota. Extremely excited to finally be able to do some serious mountain riding. Couple problems with that.

1. I left my sled behind (2005 MXZ500SS), as it is not a wise sled to have out here for obvious reasons. So alas, I am on the hunt for a REV Summit.

2. Being in Colorado Springs, I presume I am gonna need to travel a minimum of a couple hours for any good riding. Furthermore, as I am in an apartment for the time being, I have nowhere to keep my sled, short of constantly keeping it in the back of my truck (I have considered it). That being said, if the right opportunity on a Summit came up, I would have no problem paying to store it.

I guess Im mainly on here to find other sledders in my area and hopefully find some people to ride with once I get all my ducks in a row.

So, if you are a southern Colorado snowmobiler (or have a lead on a Summit), feel free to hit me up!
:peace:

Welcome from a decade old transplant! I made the move from MN to CO about ten years ago. I am in the SW corner, a good 5 hour drive from the Springs. You will LOVE the powder riding, I am an addict.

You should post up in the Colorado section, you will surely find some local riding buddies in there.

As for the REV... I would reccomend something different, the Revs had some failings, like pistons every season and broken nun's. For durable and reliable something like an M7 or M8 Cat is going to be the best ride for $3-5k. Craiglist should be a good resource whichever you choose.

Enjoy the sunshine!
