new to the 4stoke dirtbike world, any good sites?

Good old XR-400. Probably one of the BEST trail bikes ever built, aside from possibly one of its parent xr's. Lots of fun, great bulletproof bike, great trail power, and very rideable! It's too bad you are seeing less and less of them, i think too many people get caught up in thinking they have to have a new 450. They are a ton of fun, keeps your sled skills up over the summer, and nothing is more fun to pistol hunt from than a dirtbike!

thanks for all the replies.. still working on perfecting starting this gal, its not the easiest to start or i am an idoit. there is alot of info out there on starting it, just trying to find out which one works for me!!

yeah i already looked for electric start and it is not cheap.. like 1300 for the honda kit and i think 1000 to make the 400ex (4 wheeler) electric start to work.. dont start me on my shins, they hurt .. buying some boots asap, anyone know a good website to buy cheap moto cross stuff?

i had an 04 xr 400 that i bought new. Great bike but a bugger to start many times. Sure like the button on the 07 wr 450..

This isn't mine but it is one just like it, fun bike, it's a 1990 ATK 406 MX, big, torquey 2-stroke Rotax motor, titanium frame, and a Dynoport pipe(yes, Dynoport as in sleds, built the only aftermarket pipe for the bike back then!), overall it's a ton of fun on the trail! Short, quick turning, torquey, and different!
