Hey folks,
First year on the Pro, and loving it so far. We are headed out to Togwotee in two weeks, and I want to install MDS clutching. Just a couple of questions:
Can you change the primary spring without pulling the primary? What are the best tricks for changing the weights?
I have a lot of experience with Doo TRAs, but none with Polaris. Thanks!

Yes both can be changed without pulling the clutch, however I find it easier to do on the workbench. I also like to pull the clutch right off for inspection reasons

on the sled (remove belt)
two choices either remove the clutch cover bults (evenly so it doesn't bind ) and then it will compress and you can fish the wieghts out (magenet works good)

or carefully use a big flat head screwdriver to compress the sheaves and slide a socket down between and it'll hold it open so you can work

i can't remember what size but just try some I'm sure someone will say what size to use
good luck oh and you'll love those mds wieghts :face-icon-small-win

also clean the clutch with air and scuff belt surface with scotch bright
