New to NorCal, Dealers, Riding Buddies, Locations

Hey, recently moved to Sac area, looking for locals to ride with and such.
Have plenty (~15 yrs) of experience mountain riding, have the safety gear. Shovel, probes, beacon, etc.
I ride a 11 Pro RMK 800 155".

Any tips/suggestions on decent Polaris dealers in the area? Figured most the local ones wouldn't be much into snowmobiles..

PM or reply, whichever is fine.

Thanks,
~DJ

Talk to RedlineBill on here. He owns adrenaline powersports in Citrus heights (15 minutes from downtown Sac) They sell polaris sleds and we ride alot. You will be pretty surprised to see how many hardcore riders there are in the area! Check out this site it is all local Sac, Tahoe, Reno people. Look forward to meeting up, Ryan Willis

Hey, thanks for all the info/links.

I've driven by that Pol dealer on Sunrise a couple times now, I'll have to stop in next time. Looked like their still in ATV/UTV mode atm.

I moved from northern MT (Whitefish/Kalispell area), lived in CO (Denver suburbs) before that and primarily rode the central and northern Rockies.

you have come to a nice place

Auburn Extreme Powersports is a good place to get servicing for Polaris sleds.

Some of my favorite places to ride are:
  • Little Truckee Summit is very good. Milies and miles of great trails and roads.
  • Gold Lakes road. Spectacular scenery and a very nice riding area.
  • Cisco Grove is nice. It is right off of Hwy 80. it will cost you $10.
  • China Wall area is nice. Lots of trails and roads to have fun on there.
  • La Porte area is great. lots of snow covered roads and trails.
Sacramento is not a bad area to live at all for nearby snowmobiling areas.

Did you bring your sled with you to California?
