New to Nor Cal lookin for the deep!

This summer I moved from Mt. Baker to northern cal (redding area) for a job. I have spent the last 5 years riding in the northern WA and BC. I love upper alpine and boondockin and only use trails to get there. I have heard there is some good riding in the Shasta area and was hopen the are some locals could fill me in on the Goods.

If you make it south of Shasta to ride...hook up with silvertip. You can't ask for a better guy to show you around. He has forgotten more about the area than I'll ever know.

Kale knows Shasta good too. I had an awesome trip up there last year. Can't wait to see it with better snow.
