new to forum and new to snowmobiles

Decided to take up snowmobiles this year thanks to some friends. Recently purchased a 04 polaris 800 vertical edge. Also ride 01 Suzuki VL 1500 in warmer weather and do a little 4X4 with a mostly 78 Cj 5 W/350. Hope to learn more about sleds from the forum. Reside in the lower Yakima Valley WA.

Welcome to snowest. There is a lot of good information here and well as a lot of knowledgeable people willing to answer questions. Get ready to spend money. it isn't a cheap sport but the fun factor is right up there at the top. The same motto applies to sledding as it does with 4wheelin "keep the shiny side up" however "champ to chump in one bump" also applies HeHe Good luck and have a safe fun season

Hey,

I came across this forum when I began to look for info on clutching 2012 switchback assault 800. I found lots of good info in here so I decided to join the party. I have been riding since I could walk and when the snow is not flying, I love to fish, hunt, 4x4 and spend most my time by the lake when I'm not at work!
