Well, after 1 Msled and 10 Polaris sleds, I've jumped ship and bit on a 2014 XM SP 163 with 160 miles. It was the local dealer's demo. Came with an HPS can and Poo skis. I purchased the nose cone vents and Tom's Powder Wedges. I'm just wondering if there are any other simple, minor mods a guy might do to it. I plan on upgraded suspension and belt drive next season, but for now just simple things. I know the clutching and suspension are stock out of the box. I'm 190 lbs before gear. Any setup suggestions would be much appreciated. I'm coming off an 11 Pro 155 that I loved, just decided to try something new.

Rode Cooke city & BC a lot last year never blew a belt! Only does any good on the 163 ! Each to there own!

Switched to a 21 before going to Sicamous. Lots of heat! Blew a belt up there as well. 154 though..

Rooster Built clutch kit and quick clickers. Gas oil and blow out the primary after every ride, keep primary sheeves clean and ride the piss out of it. Best sled on the hill.

You've got some real good answers.

Clutching
Keep clutches clean
Quick Clickers
"If" you can Non- Ethanol fuel.
I realize not everyone has the option, but if you do great.

Powder wedges work well. Been using the the past 2 seasons.

Forgot to mention Quick Clickers are part of the list I've already got, just not installed. Put the wedges on today, just have the nose vent and clickers to put on. I appreciate the suggestions
