We will be coming from northwest Iowa next weekend. Where are some places to stay at in Walden area? Also where do you drive up to to unloaded. None of us have ever been out in this area so any help is appreciated. Thanks

I also come from Iowa. We've been staying at north park inn and suites in Walden. There is also antlers inn, they have a cafe restaurant, bar in house that is good food. I suggest going to the forest service right north of town and get area maps so you know where and where not to ride. You can pm if you want some more details. Avalanche conditions are high level right now so be careful! Some of the best snow out there right now so have fun!
