New to Alberta

Hey guys, I am now to Alberta, just relocated to Calgary. I am a long time east coaster (power lines and trees with what little powder I can find) but new to the mountains. Where can I meet some new Alberta snowmobilers to hang with or hook up with for some of the awesome mountain riding out here. My first purchase out here will be a used ProRMK or M8.

I help put on a ast1 coarse every year with Hangfire out of Golden BC.
If you are interested I can get you enrolled and you can save a couple of bucks.
Its a coarse for sledders taught by sledders.
I will also have a number of sleds for sale soon.
We should hook up one weekend and chat.

Well I'm in Red Deer now until I can find a building Tech for here. Soon as I hire someone I'll be off to Calgary! I definitely plan on taking the Hangfire course, thanks to Dave.

Hey guys I'm up in edmonton always ready for a ride. I had more time then anything else. actually looking at buying a place in sicamous.

I want to do the course in Golden swell. but no buddy's up in edmonton have time to go or ride anymore. and its a death wish to go on my own.

Out of my comfort zone.

Im a flat lander from Haliburton Ontario. Just moved to Elk Point Alberta. Been running maked trails,lakes and puddles for years. I've done some ditch banging sice I have been here, Im looking forward to trying out something different. Although Im not set up for deep powder new sled soon. Any info would be great. Hope I didn't hijack this thread thanks
