New Timbersled Website

I'm sure it will be nice when its complete but as it stands now all the sections are "Coming Soon", why would you do that right at the beginning of the season when guys are looking for stuff you can't find anything on there as it stands. If its not ready don't throw it up there, Duh.

I'm sure it will be complete soon. With all of Yeti's marketing looking so high tech I'm sure they wanted out there ASAP.

Just real frustrating when you want to check things like fit kit crossover and such and its down. Sure they will have it up to speed shortly. But again, it looks super clean.

But curious where the sled parts went, nothing on there I saw about it. Wondering whats to become of it!

This is kind of an example of what is being discussed in the APT thread, its more of rushing things to market before they are ready.

It's been a day... and it's not snowing... seems to magnify things I know.

Give it a couple of days... Looks good so far!

Pray for snow.

In the meantime, give em a call if you need info or parts the phone number is listed at the bottom of the page.

I just noticed a couple things about the new site... first, it follows the look and feel of the Polaris site, but I also noticed that there doesn't seem to be any mention of snowmobile parts and they've totally dropped the "Mountain Horse" name from all the models. It seems like Polaris has declared that a "Timbersled" is a snowbike. Pretty slick marketing moves.

I went to look up some info on the site and it is terrible now. The old site was much better. U cant find specific info on each kit etc. What happened ? Maybe some of the reps/dealers can tell us ? Too bad they got in bed with Polaris, they will screw it all up i bet.

If pay $150.00 you can get a upgrade fix kit for that..........LMAO.

Just an FYI, like the link chrbal posted earlier and explained, that is a link to an independent archive site and is a snapshot of the old site and not the old website being back. No affiliation to Timberled. They spider the entire web and you can look at what websites "used to be" at certain points in time. Just making it clear that the link provided is NOT a Timbersled site.

Archive sites are super useful in situation like this, but note that that many of the pics aren't save and are not available (like the ones for parts if you are trying to see pictures of how things fit together) or links to stored PDFs like the Instructions section. Still useful and fun, but best would have been Timbersled developing the beta site in parallel and letting folks go to either, or at lease leaving the old site available as a link off of the new front page.
