new tail light

hey guys im puttin a new tail light on an 09 rmk 700 and i was wonderin if any of you now which of the three wires do what (ground, tail, stop) theres a brown wire red and orange on the factory harness. the wires comin from the new taillight are brown, white w/stripe and red w/stripe. if any of you know what they are id really appreciate it.
Thanks!

i believe white would be ground, brown as your marker lights and red for your brake lights..so fire up your sled and check for power with your test light and go from there

I have an 07 IQ and these sleds run a non typical set-up. The way i understand it is that there is actually 2 ground wires and one "hot" wire.

I put on an aftermarket tailight(LED) and had to use a converter box from Bluhm Enterprises. I tried to go without the converter box and used a test ligt to try and identify the running, brake and ground but could only get one wire to light up my test light. After installing the converter, I hooked up my LED and everything works!!!

I think Sled Solutions also offers a converter for these. But This is only if you are trying to switch to an LED (I think!!!)

Good Luck!!!
