The suit I got at the beginning of the year is done already. It lasted 7 days.

What should I buy? I don't care about cost. Fit, durability and functionality are what's important to me. I don't want anything heavy. I need something that is light and allows me to move around without making me tired.

Any suggestions? I was looking at the Klim stuff but don't know what jacket to go with? No pullovers! Gotta order it today.

x2 for klim. I have a Tomahawk jacket that is 7 years old still no scuffs or tears and I wore it for everyride for 6 years. I bought a new valdez this year and love it.

i bought klim this year. tomahawk and extreme bibs. plan on buying a base and mid layer if you want to stay warm. they are nothing but a water proof shell. not very wind resistent either

KLIM all the way. Klimate jacket, tog bigs, tog gloves, adrenaline boots, balaclava. Heard there helmets rock as well.

Look at the extreme bibs. No front just a back to keep snow out of pants

I've got the freeride pants and the rock have yet to get wet or cold in them.

Ian-

sorry i missed you guys last week. Klim gear is by far the best i have ever used. Valdez coat with Togwotee bibs and radium boots. i know you said that you don't want bibs but these are the unusually comfortable. if money really is no object, you won't be disappointed with Klim. i have never been cold or wet since i spent the extra coin on this gear. excellent products, warranty and customer service. plus, they are located right here in idaho.

Actually I own the extreme bibs, low front high back.....love them. Spent the night out a few weeks back and stayed nice and dry to warm.

i have had my Klim suit for 5 or 6 years and its still great:D

Great, thanks for the feedback guys.

Does anyone know where I can order Klim stuff in Canada? It's got be in stock and someone willing to overnight or 2 day the stuff to me.

still have some klim in stock, depending on size, give a shout toll-free 1-866-938-0930.

HMK Gambler series. It is available in brown tweed, black, or white. I have had great luck with mine. This is my second year. Been in snow, rain, freezing rain(I ride in Seattle!!!). Been great every time.:D

I was thinking the Valdez jacket and Free Ride pants. I don't want bibs!

I have the Free Ride pants and had to put suspenders on them to keep them up. If you wear a chest protector do not go with the Towg bibs, way to hot IMO.

I would go with the Extreme bibs if I had to do it over again.

Check out Ebay, there are some Killer Deals on Klim right now. :D

Thanks guys. I got the stuff coming in, should be here in the next few days. I went with the Free Ride pants and Valdez jacket. The prices I found were all over the place. I managed to get the pants for $335 CAN shipped with taxes and the jacket for $450 CAN shipped with taxes :)

Hopefully my *** crack doesn't hang out like Mike is suggesting, or I'll be the next caption contest in the lounge! :)
