New style metric chevy wheels on old 8x6.5 truck

Tried seaching this but could not find if it would work. So gave it a try, have a few 1000 miles on them now with no issues. Use a 2" billet wheel apapter to convert to the new meteic wheels. Maybe an inch wider track then the old 08 wheels I had been using.

I wouldnt put it on my pickup. I plan to lift 3.5" RC on my truck someday soon, will run with 285/70/17. I wanted to go for 305/65/17 just to make it look wide tires but I live on county and rocks will hit the sides paint.

get lift alittle and put wide tires on it!
