What about the fan for the sinister goggles? Ive herd about it but have not seen it. Was told it was going to be at haydays..

Please keep us informed. As im sure im not the only one that would love that option...

The 509 Ani-Fog Fan is available. It is the only fan module directly compatible with 509 Sinister and Aviator goggles. As you will notice the fan mount has been redeveloped to specifically mount on 509 goggles. MSRP is $65. They are in stock and available from any 509 dealer (ie Sled Solutions).

how much does this interfere with visibility?

It would be great to get a picture with a eye viewpoint.

thanks

Thanks Tom!!!! I'll get these up on the site in the a.m.

I tried a pair on at Haydays and you JUST see the bottom of the unit so not very much interference at all.

What is the weight of the helmet? I can find no information on just that anywere @ 509s website.

Question about the fan for the goggles. How loud is it? Because i play alot of paintball and they have fan paintball masks and they are really loud...you cant hear a person that is 5 feet away from you. But thats paintball. So how loud is this fan?

You will not notice the noise from the fan while you are riding. You can definitely carry on a conversation no problem over the fan. It kinda sounds like a mosquito sort of....... You are right Christopher this unit is exactly like the Habervision eliminator...it is a modified version to fit the Sinister goggles. The same great technology that is found in the Haber product has gone into this one.

COOOOOL!!!!

Is the lens color actually grey when you look through them??

Here is my idear...put this on the Aviators. Make the lens amber/gold and polarized with this black outer coating.

I could REALLY be a fighter pilot then.

That's awesome.

The habervision fans are $40, why are the 509 fans that much more expensive? Whats the difference between the two fans (other than the generic answer that the 509 fan is designed to fit better)? How does it fit better? Does it work better? Doesn't the habervision fan fit the sinisters already? Just seems a little odd that the 509 fans are $25 more.....

Correction: The habervision fans were $40 at Hay Days (cant remember which vendor booth), the habervision website has them listed for $65 still.

The Canadian and the Pink sinisters were both out last year. The blacked out ones look sick, I'll be getting a pair of those as well as the polar yellow. I thought Tom said he was doing the Aviators in pink this year, did that idea get squashed?

Come on guys, how about some polorized lenses in the aviatiors. Thats what every ones waiting for. Whats the problem. I've bought a set of aviators but there not what i would call a low light goggle.

509 & Haber fans are both $65 which is the MSRP set by Haber themselves. We license their technology, they set the MSRP. Anybody selling them at $40 is undercutting the MSRP set BY Haber.

So for anyone who reads only the first part of your post and gets confused by your information, 509 fans are the same price as the Haber fans. And no the standard Haber fan doesn't fit our Sinister goggle, short of mcguyvering the top mount and using it not how it was intended.

We saw the potential in this product and the lack of direct compatibility with our goggles, addressed it and solved the mounting issues.

We are working on it. Unfortunately there are many hurdles in producing a polarized lens of that size. It will be available in the future. However we do have several fantastic low light aviator lenses: Yellow, rose, orange, clear.
