Picked up my first sled, 04 Mountain Cat 900. Just brought it home last night, stoked to get out.

I have one the same year but all black. you will love that boss seat and the power. just keep and eye on the coolant level, at the rear under the tunnel is the heat exchanger and at the 90 degree elbows they seem to leak a little coolant. If they start just change the hoses and use good clamps and all will be well. Enjoy your new ride.

Watch the mid range with those pipes. They have a wicked lean spot. Keep the throttle moving when you are road riding. To much road at a constant throttle will burn her down FAST !

Thanks for the heads up Rixster, the guy I purchased it from told me the same thing. As long as I keep an eye on EGT's and vary my throttle position/rpms I should be fine right?
