New sks. What to look for?

Hey guys. I'm 99% sure that my 13 pro is sold. So I'm about to pull the trigger on a new hold over 16 sks

Back when I bought the pro I'd seen a few threads on what to look for, wires that may need some protection, bolts that were not tigh enough and so on. I haven't been following the the axys threads much and haven't seen much of that

I'm planning to pull all the connections apart and add dielectric grease and do the typical loose bolt checking.
What else is there?

Anything these sleds need? How are the grip warmers? Do they need cork like the pro ride did on the bars for cold climate?

Planning to add a skid plate, maybe a heavy duty front bumper, and I'll build a rear bumper at work. When i sell my SLP stage three kit off my pro I'm hoping to do exhaust

Depending on which lug height you go with you'll want to fully clip the track, the 2.6" requires it to avoid premature wear on the non clipped portion.

Spray foam insulation is an easy alternative to corking, the heaters work ok though in my opinion.

Honestly, i have had great luck with mine, solid sled.

The sks is a great sled. If it has a 2.6 inch track I would clip every window. If it's the 2.4, you can get away without clipping. Hand warmers seem warmer than pro ride chassis.

The slp pipe really makes this sled rip. I rode identical sks side by side one with slp pipe and the other without. Very noticeable difference, more than I would have thought. This was at 1000 ft.
