Just got my new skid plate protecter for belt drive. It's very nice fit and finish follows plastics and lines very well. It was made by a company out of Idaho Falls Idaho. I got it from Rexburg Motor Sports in Rexburg Idaho. This is the first one so I do not know a price or availability.

nice

looks great. and they left the notch there so it will work with the 11/12's with the chaincase

That is a good looking piece. The fit and finish appears better than the other one I saw on here. I might have to call about one, not sure I'm going to install one just yet.

another better picture

Looks killer! Only thing I would add, would be a piece of plastic (insert preference here), since if you have ever hit anything with an aluminum skid plate, it tends to "bite" into the aluminum. A beautiful and much needed addition & once again, personal preference only.

If it were me I would drill out a couple of the belly panrivets and mount it inside between the chassis and the belly pan. If needed massaging the belly pan contours with a heat gun. That way you don't have a snow and Ice magnet mounted there.

Belt Drive Protector

If You Dont Like The Price Of That One - Check Out The One By Tri City Polaris Its A Little Differant, Looks A Little Thicker And Is Just Short Of $70.00

Twice as big as the Tri-City Polaris one so $100.00 seems to be right in line actually.

With this type of thought logic, this new skid plate that is being discussed/designed in the previous post should cost $1000.

Someone will design one that is carbon fiber and sell it for $50. Just wait!

Correct me if I am wrong but this new product and the TCP product are aluminum. The sled armour would be plastic. Is that right?

If that's correct than how can you say it would cost $1000.00? Different materials. Go look at a regular skid plate and then check the Skinz plate. You pay more for more product. I thought that was simple math when talking about the same materials.

Sorry. I was being a smartazz. I think that the TCP one is overpriced as well. I think that the TCP should be about $40 and the RMS one about $60. Still someone needs to make one out of carbon fiber.

It is 55 dollars for plate just left snow show tonight my buddy won one on a raffle. He sold it to my buddy for 20 bucks cause he rides a cat lol.
