I'm thinking about getting a new sled or buy the new seat. Anyone get the chance to ride the new arctic cat seat that is ether shorter or a women rider?
I'm 5'3" tall and was wondering about the height and width. Thanks

Aren't the new cat seats Boss seats?

If they are...I'm barely pushing 5'5 and LOVE my Boss flattop on my M8. The stock seat on the 07 cats was a joke. The Boss seat is much more narrow, making it a lot easier on my knees.

Nice Seat and sled. I love the cats!

My husband has a Boss seat on his sled and and i don't care for the width of it. Thats why i was wondering about the new seat.

Last year cat had a deal with boss, this year they came out with a new seat of their own.

I too was wondering what smaller people think about the height of the '10 cat seat. Looks tall, just wondering if it will be a pain for smaller people.

Thats true! Some times the shorter people ride my sled with a Boss seat and hate it.

I haven’t rode on the new(2010) seat, but I have sat on it and jumped around like so many of will start to do in mid August in our garages. I personally liked it a lot. I currently ride with a Boss Highrise Flattop and I am only 5’8”. I would have no issues with the new Cat seat and would almost prefer it over the Boss since you can hook your foot on the back, it has more storage and it is about $150-200 cheaper than Boss.

Boy, you're getting a killer deal on a boss if it's only $200 cheaper! Retail is $299 on the new seat, I would hope we could do a bit better than that.

I was planning on getting an 010 for my wife next year (5'1"), she does like the boss, but I wonder what she'll think of the new seat. I guess I might not sell her boss with her 08 now, better wait to make sure she likes it first.

I gave my new seat to skinner and I took his boss seat... the new Arctic cat seat was a little to tall for me...
