New Rider

I know new members should post in the other section, but i know it rarely gets looked at. if it needs to be moved, then i apologize.

...Anyway, i just wanted to say hi to the WA section as I'll be (hopefully) tearing up the snow this winter.

I should be picking up my new AC M8 in the next week or two. i rode once last year in the deep pow and was hooked.

I'm originally from MI, then moved to IL for 3 years, now found myself in the PNW - I've been in WA going on 3 years. I've been riding for 10+ years - although all of my resume is on flat land.

If any of you are on snowmobileforum.com i'm known as PolarisINDY500 - good group of guys over there but the forum is more midwestern-type riding. So i decided to join SW as i've been a lurker for a while.

Anyway - looking forward to meeting you guys and hopefully getting a few rides in as well

Welcome,

I'm really happy for you that your out of Ill ! Not sure where your located, but no one is very far from great riding in our state.
There are plenty of folks on here that will show you around, and feed you BS, and there are lots of web based sites that will get you up to speed on the differant area's and access points.
If you've been lurking on here for awhile you've probably already figured it out, lot's of changes going on, and it's a great resource for info.
Anyway, have fun with that new cat and again, welcome !

Don't get the orange coat to go with the cat! Trust me..

He's just jealous he didn't get invited to "The Club"

Welcome, You will enjoy the riding and the folks around here. Everyone is straight forward, serious, honest, no-nonsence kind of people. Most of the good riding is North and East of Lacy. If you want to ride on a certain day just post it and you will have folks that will be willing to show you around.

Graveler and Fordman have a tour service, you pay for gas and they give you the tour of your life, it actually could be life changing. You will come back a new man...........

Come to the Puyalup Snow Show and you will meet a lot of the folks. There will be several threads as we get closer. Come over to the Saws booth and you will meet folks as well.

Enjoy the ride...........

guys - thanks for the warm welcome (?). i live in Lacey - pretty close to the new Cabellas acutally. but i've been lurking for about a year so i'm up to speed with all the gay jokes and s*it like that. i think the best series of posts was where fordman and graveler took turns towing eachother out - and both helmets were filled with snow - LOL...

Anyway - i rode with snowbyrd last year, and he was my source for this site so i guess he's partially responsible.

im actually going to go to the Puyallup show - cant wait actually. i was there last year and too.

Soccerd6 - i'm picking it up from Waldrons. ive had several bad experiences at Paulsons and refuse to go there again - even if i just need plugs.

Welcome to the addiction!

Pay no attention to all those who say Graveller and Fordman are gay.
They're really a couple of the nicest guys a person could get to know.
Outstanding riders who we could all learn a thing or two from.......

OK, I can't even do that with a straight face over the internet!
In reality, they're total tea bagging meat handlers.
They'll try tempting you with free gas and a spot in their trailer.
Broke back mounting has nothing on these two.
They'll take you way into the hills and then have their way with you when they get you stuck.
There's only a couple people who ever ride with them a second time.
Those guys are dangerous too (Sap) stay very far from them. I'm sure they're listed on some law enforcement website somewhere.;)

Welcome

There are a few of us that work out at Ft. Lewis, real close to you. We get together and ride quite a bit down south. You're always welcome to come with us.

One of my favorite shots I've taken...
