What makes Armorcord™ different? Motor starter pull cords are typically made from braided nylon. The problem with braided nylon is that it wears out and will eventually break at the most inopportune time. The patent pending Armorcord™ technology delivers a pull cord like no other. Armorcord™ is not only guaranteed for life, but if you manage to break one, we will send you 10 new Armorcord™ pull cords absolutely free!

I think they can ship via Post office... no customs hassles that way...

Good stuff..

Otherwise, Royal Distributing should carry the Armor cord.

Armour Cord is in B.C.

Yes Armor Cord they work great after going through 2 ropes and starting the 900 with a strap off the clutch. I now have one on my 9 and hay work good for snow boot laces they will never break. I carry them in the 88” Length $28.00 Cdn is about where there at.

Discovered this thread searching for pull cord.

Is the length from Ice Age the correct length or does it have to be cut down?

How much work is involved in replacing the cord? Recoil housing removal including the engine mounts to get to the bottom two?

I'd like to be on the safe side and just replace mine now and never worry about it...

I busted my pull cord a couple of weeks ago to find I didn't have an emergency pull strap. I was seperated from my group so I walked to a cabin through waist deep snow and found a rope and got my sled started. Morale to the story is make sure you have some kind of strap or rope to clutch start you sled and replace the pull cord every couple of seasons.

I just use small diameter synthetic rope from your local sporting goods store. It might cost you $3. Same as climbing rope but smaller diameter, stronger than the same size steel cable.
