New pull rope.

Does anybody put any treatment of any kind on a new pull rope? Any thoughts?

anytime u replace a pull rope concider paying more for the 3500 # rope but with any new rope spray it heavily with wd-40 or jb-80 otherwise the rope vibrates so much that they don't last long, the factory ropes are oiled thats why they get gray after awhile
