New Project EPS Apex 174 w 290 MCX

New 2011 Apex with power steering stretched to 174 and a CR Tunnel extension. Its in for a 290 mid mount turbo to help turn that big track. I will post more pics as it comes together.

same as an 06-09..........EPS adds little and the sled was reduced.

I'll say it now..........."someday all sleds will have EPS". Im sure the other 3 are working on it now

i think the eps is pretty awesome, i think it would work well for mountain use.

EXUP is left in and still fuctioning. Requires a completly different mcx ecu. This will be the first one out there with this set up.Excited to see how the new set up works as the 2011 has a 12-14 hp advantage over previous models.

First off, very sweet sled, looking forward to seeing it finished, second it doesnt really matter to me if yamaha makes another long track apex, most people change the tunnels out anyways, as long as they keep the apex engine or even put it in the nytro chassis like some guys already have. JMO The real question should be whens Yamafest??

I would love to see another Apex mountain. Hopefully with an improved tunnel and suspension like the Nytro got. The new power is great too.

Boostedballz - We are going through the motions of bulding pretty much identical sled to what you've got going there. We will probably go 162 though. Lokking at it is the stock Apex skid with Ice Age rails? and stock tunnel with CR Tunnel extension. Please advise...we are looking at doing one as a dealer demo but trying to figure out a way to keep it closer to 20K than a 30K project. lol. Otherwise another Nytro will be added to the fleet. Thanks in advance for the clarification!

It is a stock apex mtx skid with ice age rails. The tunnel extension was a one of so you will have to talk to chad about making another but i'm sure it can be done.

Has the sled been on snow yet.

I would really like to get some feedback on the new apex kit. How is it working vs. older kits since they are only using stock injectors and not extra ones in the pleunum.

One day for me and a couple for Kevin who installed the system. Ride is amazing, power is plentifull, EPS is stunning on those switchbacks
I will get more pics and hopefully some action shots in the next while.
